Reliance Tips and Tweaks for Smooth Browsing & Downloading

Hello DigitalJanata,

I am sharing few Tips and Tweaks related with Reliance 3G Proxy Trick.

NOTE : These Tips and Tweaks are tested privately on my system and found to be effective, So if in any case, they don't work for you then I am not responsible for wasting your own time and energy. Also please note down all the changes that you perform in your system, so that if anything goes wrong then you can undo the changes.

My System Setup

OS : Windows 8.1 64 Bit
APN : rcomwap / smartwap
Modem : Huawei e3276 100 Mbps
Software : Proxycap
Connection Mode : NDIS

DNS Tweak

(Recommended)

DNS >> 97.253.25.9, 97.253.25.10

MTU Limit Tweak

(Optional)

This enhances the Browsing speed in Reliance

MTU 1460 + 28 = 1488 is best as per my location[/HIDE]

Modem Connection Type

(Recommended)

For me, NDIS mode gives smoother speed than RAS (Dial up) Mode, But for some people RAS mode giving good speed. So its kind of variate person to person, give it a try. You will find out yourself whats best for you.[/HIDE]

IDM Tweak

(Recommended)

Set Connection Type : Ethernet and Max Connection Number : 32 in IDM Options -> Connection for better downloading speed in IDM.[/HIDE]

Best time for Downloading Content

Speed is at best during 01:00 AM - 08:00 AM (As per my experience)[/HIDE]

Best Host for Optional Speed

(Recommended)

For finding out which host giving best speed in your area, first you will need to disconnect your modem -> Disable Proxycap / Proxifier, then establish the connection again and now ping each host one by one. Check which one gives lower ping in your network, that host is best for you.

For me, the host are in the following order >>

31.13.95.8:80
31.13.95.246:80
199.16.156.200:80
199.16.158.181:80[/HIDE]

Reliance Speed Booster

(Recommended)

Disconnect your Modem -> Disable Proxycap / Proxifier -> Change APN from rcomwap / smartwap to rcomnet -> Connect your Modem -> Surf /Download approx 2-3 MB -> Now Disconnect your Modem -> Change APN from rcomnet to rcomwap / smartwap -> Enble Proxycap / Proxifier -> Connect your Modem again.

NOTE : This Boost Tip won't work if you are by default not getting speed in rcomnet APN, else this quick boost should definitely enhance the speed in Reliance Proxy Trick.[/HIDE]

How to minimize Deduction Issues

(Recommended)

Simply after connecting Modem, the first thing you need to do is re-download any small file added in your IDM (it can be a small .apk file, .mp3 file, any small software etc...) As soon as download finishes, Disconnect your modem, Check your data balance by dialing USSD *111*1*3# and Confirm that deduction happened or not, If deduction is minor as compared to what you have downloaded then Proxy is working and you can continue for the next 30 minute then After 30 minutes, Redo the whole procedure.

Increase Data Quota

(Recommended)

Dial *129# USSD Code -> Goto 9 Rs Menu -> Activate 9 Rs 3G Pack -> This data will be add up into your Main 3G data pack and Validity will remain same.

NOTE : This Data Tip won't work if you don't have SIM of a state where Reliance have its own 3G services.[/HIDE]

Reliance is working for me very nice
When I use proxycap its speed goes slower but when I use host with IDM and Firefox then its speed much better than proxycap
And my laptop hanging by using proxycap for 30 minutes

Well Proxycap works for me very well (No hang issues, either its your hardware issue or some other program / antivirus is interfering with Proxycap). However using direct proxy will give you a boost of course but other system processes which don't have any proxy setting by default is going to use your data proportionally (No proxy will be applied on them), So its not suggestible to do it directly on PC / Laptops to prevent deduction issues.

You can boost it a bit than your current speed by following tips (All you need to do it Be an ACTIVE user, Help others, Post some useful info and then when you reach to a certain message count required for any post to see, then you can enjoy all the tricks posted here.

Not OLD users, ACTIVE users can enjoy the tricks and info posted here... Many of newcomers are just leechers / bloggers, who copy paste everything from here and there. So as a safety measure, We hide relevant info from those.

No, Use rcomwap.. If deduction happens in rcomwap then use rcomnet proxy trick posted by Govil in Reliance Trick section.

Try different hosts, For me it variates host to host but at some point it disconnects.

Either move to Mozilla Firefox (or) Set Dial up as default connection mode.

Well you can give a try to GreatX solution but i don't think it would work that way because i face same issue with my SIM, so i use rcomwap.

Just install the software reconnect and set in the setting as your APN which is connected it will automatically get connected after the disconnection..

These are the ones that are found to be working in my tests.. you can also find more and test on your own with the help of FREE offers from RIM.. Yes you can change DNS in mobile too in APN settings.

Okay there is no option for changing dns in apn setting..can you provide ss? Any solution for anonymous data deduction in Zacebook.com(rcomnet) proxy trick? We can't know when zacebook.com is going to deduct our data.any solution? Speed is super fast in zacebook.com trick...

data pack - fb,tw
proxy - one of your menioned proxy....but it isn't even working now without proxy

Give a try yourself... [HIDE=170]APN : rcomwap, Port : 9200 / 9201[/HIDE]... I don't think its working at all, It's just a hoax but still wish you good luck !!

[HIDE=174]9 Rs Pack should be activated by *129# Menu.. and its generally 100 MB 3G, not 650 MB... I think you are doing something wrong because its even working in Delhi !![/HIDE]

That DNS is specific to DNS services, Don't worry its not an issue with DNS.. Just Connect-Disconnect-Connect Internet with your Modem Dashboard.. Everything will be back online in certain trials... I also face the NO DATA TRANSFER issue regularly.. Its NORMAL with RIM.
