These Option are available in Modem itself under connection Type...If you modem dose Not have this Option Available then try using MDMA...it also work the same way...the basic idea is don't use modem dashbord

In very simplest way open cmd[window+r]then type cmd hit enter.
-type following "Ping *********" [replace star with the Host you wanna ping]
-On other hand there a numerous way to ping host and test proxies and responses.Google it.
