The new Mi 5 Extreme comes with some serious improvements over its predecessor
Processor
It features a 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor , Adreno 530 GPU, and 3GB RAM. The CPU is overclocked by 19% to 2.15GHz from 1.8GHz, GPU runs at 624MHz instead of 510MHz , and RAM is overclocked to 1866MHz from 1333MHz
Batter and Display
The battery remains the same at 3000mAh. The display of Mi 5 Extreme measures 5.15-inch with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, made with curved 3D Ceramic glass
Memory and Operating System
There are three versions available for internal storage — 32 / 64 / 128GB. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system
Camera
The Camera features a 16MP Sony IMX298 camera sensor with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), 6P lens and LED flash. The smartphone supports 4K video recording. It also sports a 4-megapixel front camera for video calling and both cameras will feature a f/2.0 aperture.
