1. GIVES 3G SPEED IN 2G MOBILE NETWORK(WHERE NO COVERAGE OF UTMS/WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPS)only 2gmode​

2.AROUND(100-130 KB) IN 2G

3.IT MAY GIVE MORE SPEED IN 3G NETWORK THAN REGULAR 3G(300-600)KB​

4.EXPECTED/EXPERIMENTAL SPEED IN 3G (3-5)MB​

MY SETUP:​

1.i am using VODAFONE TWITTER VPN (MY MOD)---KEPARD/US CONFIG​

2.then AFTER CONNECTING WITH VPN I AM USING A GLYPE PROxY(zhanger.us/p/index.php)​

3.then i tried to download large files (mainly ISO's) i used this one>>>(http://mirror.anl.gov/pub/ubuntu-iso/CDs/13.04/ubuntu-13.04-server-i386.iso)​

4.WHEN DOWNLOAD START S ---------AMAZED TO SEE 3G SPEED​

Check Ur Signal Status .. I guess U get 3G signal from Either Idea or Airtel ( vodafone SIM gets Airtel 3g network when I recharge 3g pack in my area )

Faced same on Vodafone 2G network on Modem too....On a 2G pack of Rs25....... From TTML.in....Speed was about 90KB[2G Network].....But its not for other sites..... Is it something related to Ports? Port 80 using Download test Site gave 400KB+ SPeed on 2G pack on BSNL too[3G Network].....But others its 30KB.......... Something is fishy with Vodafone...... I think its Fake Speed shown by IDM...Confusing

Yeah i understood bro.....Saying i got 3G Speed on 2G Network on Vodafone with Rs 25 Plan.... Didnt check the Connections while using.......

This is Not Possible.......beCause....If You will see the Specification of any 2G Mobile Phone....

They Mention the Speed of the EDGE around 238Kbps (Not 238 KB/s) ....

yes u are true ..but u didnt noticed that i mentioned ..
that recieve transfer rate of modem was less then local area vpn connection status
mean i getting 3g transfer ..rate in vpn status at same time i was getting 2g-transfer kbs..10-20 kb ..in
connection status of dial up modem i used..

unlike modem status LAN status doesnt reset after disconnection-connection. it resets only after computer restart. So u might have disconnected the vpn connection..reconnected thats why stats resumed.

that was not excatly what i said.....
i said that when i was downloading @103 kb speed the time diff.of both of them.
increase with increase in speed.
when the speed was normal 2g ...it was showing normal time diff.

And Local Connection Transfer will be higher......See when PD Proxy scans port....The Local Connection Rate will be 10MB+........... On a 2G Device...That wont happen unless its a mistake

bro simply what i get is ..3g speed in 2g network in any network..even with 2g mobile.
LET SAy i downloaded [A] of 600mb or larger file
then it gives 3g speed upto 10-13 mb for some seconds(10-45)
speed becomes normal..after downloading some data..
BUT WE ALL SAY THAT HOW IT IS POSSIBLE IN 2G NETWORK/MOBILE
----conclusion
now i determined that eg[TO DOWNLOAD 5 MB DATA IN 2G =5MIN]
[ BUT I DOWNLOAD 5MB DATA IN 2G=1MIN]

about network status:
the real dial up modem stautus we create in control panel gives transfer speed upto=20-30 kb
when i am downloading that 5mb data.....
but other local conection status mainly which is TAP ADAPTER...of vpn
gives tranfer speed which is given by above screen shot.ie..100-130kb..

actually i have downloaded 500 kb ..from network..ISP
but the downloaded file size in my pc is of 5mb...
isn't it intresting.
it is same as we buy any pack of limited 2gb data ....but we download around 20 gb of .it..how.??
