for what i know
fb free basics got activated on my delhi no. and then i was just recharging with 3g data pack not the one with free fb/wa but the data which just give 3g mb as free fb was activated.Then comes TRAI and it said to stop giving the free basics service temporarily as there was a lot of criticism about free basic vs net neutrality in DEC
then reliance began to block free basics host ,in Jan 12 or 13th i tried to browse and got connection tunnel error
then i changed the ip to rcomnet and tried to access m.facebook.com and i was being redirected to blank page with m.facebook.com/support/zero/ineligibility..............
I couldnt not even open fb with rcomnet or rcomwap as reliance or fb blocked the free service
Now TRAI is to take action in this or next week and it's going to stop free basic for all over india (ther's was a reason you were seeing free basic ad's all over the place newspaper,advt.,youtube ad ) and it would take may be a month before free basic's get removed and then we will have access to unlimited fb with unlimited fb data pack
