You know what is a torrent? If your answer is yes, then you’ve probably heard of uTorrent. The uTorrent is a client application for the BitTorrent protocol. However, in its free version it comes with some advertisements that is very uncomfortable for many of us. So, let’s see how to remove ads from uTorrent in some simple steps.



How to Remove Ads from uTorrent

Open uTorrent and go to Options > Preferences > Advanced. Here you will see a large list of flags for the app and a filter box. Search and disable the following filters:-

• offers.left_rail_offer_enabled
• left_rail_offer
• gui.show_plus_upsell
• offers.sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
• sponsored_torrent_offer_enabled
• bt.enable_pulse
• gui.show_notorrents_node
• offers.content_offer_autoexec

Search the Above Filters one by one and set the value to- FALSE. See the screenshot for help.
Once done, just press OK. To see all the changes, close the uTorrent and open again. It should look like this:
Congratulations! Now you have uTorrent without any annoying advertisement.
