android patern lock unlock help pls..

my phone is locked and i forgot patern...even with right patern not unlocking...
when i try to remove gesture.key file showing msg. that permission denied.
how to give permission to file?
tried by "remount rw" and "chmod 777"..
pls help me...

Which phone? if usually shows sign in option after repeated wrong attempts....

or do a hard reset !! This wipes data on phone...

i know how to do it without hard reset.
but problem is getting error msg of permission denied..

If u r rooted, and have cwm or twrp installed.
Enter in recovery mode
Then , clearing cache and dalvik cache will reset the phone.
Only msg & downloaded apps will be deleted, no deletion of contacts because contacts are synchronized with Google.
Better to remove sim card & sd card ( not necessary, but, why to take risk)
Can't say about non rooted mobile, because I have rooted mobile

Agar patern lock hoga to first of all gmail account hi mangta he mobile.agar wo nahi kar sakte he tabhi to computer se unlock karne ki try karte he.

what if no internet connection activated in settings and unable to activate after lock?then also can u do this?

It has nothing to do with network/internet.

If you have a backup of all the data
Then do a factory reset from recovery.
