same prob mujhey bi aa ri h idea ka 3g network ni chakta....
but i asked customer care people : they say on roaming sim of delhi then you can manually select idea network in hr to use 3g if there is no voda 3g...but not working...

@All call cc or recharge with any small pack of 3g like 8rs plan then you will get 3g signal
now trying at 0 bal roaming sim....when i search network in mobile partner it only shows IDEA 3g....you saying if i take 3g plan then it will register to idea3g network by manually registering right ???

3din ho gye ni hua abi bi...
u tried direct 3g recharge...i guess minimum is Rs 48 in HR......tried or not??

ok bro 3g ka rec karvata hu........kisi ko pta h haryana me 3g ka minimum kitney ka h
Rs 42 bahut costly hai..RISKY if do not works after that..check all plans :

@All don't use any code or ACT 3G because VODAFONE are now much intelligent, JUST GO FOR ANY SMALL 3G PLAN as low as it can work in your area just do it, your sim will catch 3g signal for sure!

If you are in roaming it may be case but generally it doesn't happen. Check for 3g service in your are on another sim of voda

jay bro mein delhi se hu mere bhi same problem hai cc mein call kiya tha tho unhone kaha ki 3g signal ke aapke account mein 1 rs tak balance hona chayiye so tho mein call recharge karve try karta hu than tume bata hu

after recharge done..try manual search and select idea or other network of 3G only...

I am using it with 3g rc and getting the HSPA+ on 21MBPS modem any doubt
like I said, before get a 3g rc done and search for 3g network which is available and if register on any network like idea on vodafone or viceversa you are lucky
