how to know that my tata photon plus is unlocked or not....

Put another SIM in it and checked whether its connecting or Not. If its connected then its Unlocked !

i inserted the net activated vodafone sim but it only shows the tata photon signal and nothing else.....help

Ist of All Tata Photon is CDMA...it will Not Execute any GSM SIM.

and 2nd ....Your Modem is not Unlocked
