help jio speed problem

i have purchased jio sim it will be activated after 2-3 days but i dont have a 4g mobile only have 4g dongle will i be able to use it in dongle?
UPDATE:
I am getting poor speed in jio only 100KB/s

while others are getting good speed , is there any vpn unlimited for PC which gives better speed in jio?

You need to activate sim in any 4G handset. You can then use it any preferd 4G device either dongal or 4G handset.

no. and jio welcome offer is also activated but the problem is i am not able to use data after getting connected , no sending , no receiving

you dont need a 4g phone for activation. i got my new sim two days back.. i called 1800... from another phone and verified it.. problem is you can only use data services if do that.. to use volte service need 4g phone to verify .

then after activation insert sim to dongle.. change apn to jionet and keep other things blank.. connect...

i am also using 4g dongle, after tele verification welcome offer will be activated after 2 3 days and then insert the sim put apn jionet then connect. if it doesn't work make sure your dongle is properly working.

One simple solution for dongle users

Just connect internet through system tray icon (from where we connect dial up connection) and do not connect from modem dashboard.Hope this helps

it just takes 30 mins for welcome offer activation.. means sim gets instantly activated after televerification

try connecting to vpn.. speedify or so.. it would work by then.. check if system got proxy active or what too

i restarted pc and suddenly connected internet now it is working but speed is 50-100KBps, whereas in my mobile my friend getting 2MBps, any solution? :sad:

Why you won't use in SmartPhone . . just choose a specific place in house I also facing same thing !
That's why I always keep my SmartPhone near window !

Yes . . You can get full speed 2-2.5 MB/s after 1:00 AM but after 8-9 AM speed fluctuate and speed decreased 2 MB/s to 150 KB/s ! :sad:

whats your dongle's exact model number.. it would be like e3276s-model here... you need 2300mhz band to get good speed ..and good signal too.. if your dongle is using 1800mhz then speed would be like that ... and jio caps speed at day time... my first sim gives 300KB max at day time..

I am using in my Huawei E3276-920 Stc modem ....
And is compatible with Reliance Jio.
I had flashed it with connection manager of MTS Russia and have installed Huawei mobile partner on my Windows 10.
Simply I plug the modem and it's get connected without opening Mobile partner.

i just notice today.. they cap speed based on devices maybe.. phone that supports 2300mhz gets 2MB at day and dongle that supports 2300Mhz gets 300KB.. with 1800mhz phone gets low speed and datacard gets more speed.. weird indeed

[PRO]not sure.. here im having constant network issues.. now my speed is 20KB and stops working for couple of mins.. with 3GB data left.. sometimes speed goes to 8 or 9MB for minutes ... they must be busy with their network maintenance[/PRO]

ITS IPV4 AND IPV6 ISSUES
SITES LIKE GOOGLE YOUTUBE FB...ETCC HAVE IPV6 ENABLED WHICH HAVE HIGH SPEED.
TO CHECK THIS : GO TO ADAPTER PROPERTIES AND UNTICK IPV4 AND CLICK ONLY IPV6
now u will only get browing on youtube and ipv6 sites... other sites wont work..

checked but no difference in downloading speed on youtube got 200KB/s instead on 150 but browsing speed got increased, how much you are getting?

or use mdma apllication to set set band 40.

i have e3276s-920 which only supports band 40 2300MHz and getting -71DBM signal

Mine Speed Is Awesome last month Around 8-10 MB/s ....
After huge increase of Jio customer s it goes down and now it's only around 2-4 MB/s
