AS YOU ALL KNOW THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE FACING SPEED ISSUE IN JIO AND TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE THEY ARE TRYING TO GET INTO THE BAND 40 OF JIO WHICH IS 2300Mhz band and is known for good speed...

MANY SUGGEST TO INSTALL MTK ENGINEERING MODE AND CHANGE THE BAND
BUT YOU KNOW THAT THIS DOESN'T WORK FOR SNAPDRAGON DEVICES...ONLY MEDIATEK DEVICES ARE SUPPORTED BY THAT APP...

FOR THE SNAPDRAGON DEVICES

AND SEE THE MAGIC

NOW
*GO TO NETWORK MODE
*Select TD-LTE for Band 40 (2300MHZ)
*FDD-LTE for 1800/850 MHZ
*If you want to use both select TD-LTE, FDD-LTE

mtk engg app se band open keya then use to kai band selected hai....already and 40 band bhi selected hai....then what to do ?? remove other band only tick 40 ??

LYF FLAME 6 LS-4005 supports these LTE Bands :-
LTE-FDD BAND3(1800)/BAND5(850)
LTE-TDD BAND40(2300)

and you are already on LTE-TDD Band40 :troll5:

that code didnt work but that application has engineermode when but when i open it on title it says Testing. and bunch of sub menus titled phone information, battery information, usage statistics wifi information

and only one worth a dime is phone information in which,
there is no network option like op mentioned.
however there is only one real option set prefered network type in which there are options ranging from LTE WCDMA GSM TDSCDMA to various combinations including EVDO....currently on LTE only, and bunch of other options like turnoff radio, cellinfolistrate(with bunch of numbers trailing), turnon sms over ims, turn on lteram dump etc etc.

there is one option in menu which reads select radio band in which i have options like EUROBAND USABAND JAPANBAND AUSBAND AUSBAND2 etc

i am not sure i have right menu.

please help

Firstly i must tell you, currently we don't have any method to forcibly select band for snapdragon Processor, i own YU Yureka (have snapdragon 650 processor) , i tried selecting TDSCDMA LTE but it again comes to LTE after Restart and there is no change in network, on both (TDSCDMA LTE and LTE) i got Band 40 network only :sad:

Still you can try on your device and don't forget to post your result here :troll5:
