Want to open a locked zip or rar file, then try this software

I think it is possible by brute force i.e. trying every possible combination, but if s/w is told that pass is 4 digits, it will take less time

bruteforcing can take hours & hours depending on your system...there is also a binary patching technique...google it u'll find it probably

its possible ,the main target of bruteforce is finding key combinations ,,,,so it takes a hell lot time and most importantly it depends on your patience.
if gpu is like gtx1090 then it will find key in more faster way

Almost all rar Password crackers are same ,it takes too long to crack the password and thats why its not worth it.If you know the password strength and some characters you can reduce the unlocking time but still you have too keep your computer running for many hours.

Most of the password are more than 5 characters . So it'll take more than 1 day to try all combinations. And you have to pray that software don't crash until the code is cracked or you have to Start again .
